Pay It Forward, Baby!
I'm going to introduce you to three AMAZING bloggers who I think you'd enjoy following. Once you're done visiting them, you can check out the Linky List of everyone else participating in the blogfest and find even more people out there in the blogosphere!
I have a theme going on with my three choices and it is self-publishing! I don't think I've ever made it a secret that I think it is absolutely wonderful that authors now have practically unlimited choices in getting their books out there. Every avenue has its own difficulties, though, and I think it's particularly hard for self-pubbers to get exposure. So! Here are some GREAT bloggers who have published their own wonderful books!

For Those Who Love Blogging
I love blogging. I really do. I know it may seem like I don't based on my limited posting over the last few months, but I swear it's one of my favorite things to do.
I've met some amazing people through blogging and I've learned more about the publishing industry than I ever would have without this social media. I can honestly say I would never have been published had I not started blogging. It's true. Kate found out about my book because I'd commented on a post on her blog and she followed me back to mine.
And I'm positive others owe their success to blogging as well.
So if you're one of those people who LOVES blogging (maybe you've been doing it for years, or maybe you're just starting out), I have a blogfest to tell you about.

Starcrossed, by Josephine Angelini
First, I just want to say I know I've been a very bad blogger lately. I keep starting the week with the idea that I'll post MWF, but it doesn't ever work out. At the very least, I've decided I'm going to devote some time to visiting some of my favorite blogs again. Hopefully, when the first draft writing phase is over, I'll have a bit more time to blog like I used to. Also, I am most definitely planning on doing something to celebrate hitting 300 followers. It will happen soon! :)

My Thoughts:
I like the music, but some of the pictures were a little cheesy. The story sounded intriguing, though. I would probably be more likely to pick it up now than I was before I saw the trailer. However, I don't think it's one of those trailers that makes me go "I must buy this NOW!!!"

Silence Book Trailer--A Review
It's been a while and I wanted to get back into reviewing book trailers, so I thought today would be a good day to start doing it again. Why? Because the third book in one of my all time favorite series is coming out tomorrow!! Yes, I am VERY excited.
I love me some Patch.
But first! Did you see that I hit 300 followers?? I feel like I should celebrate in some way. What do you guys think? Should I do a giveaway or another blogfest/contest with amazing prizes?
Let us ponder on this while we watch the trailer for Silence, by Becca Fitzpatrick.

My Thoughts:
All the trailers have been essentially the same. There's the same feather falling from the sky and the same music. And to be honest, I like the continuity. When watching them consecutively, the tension increases and you really get a good idea of what the relationship between Patch and Nora is all about. Plus, the music is great and I don't think anyone can watch this trailer and NOT know it's about a fallen angel falling in love with a girl.
That being said, I don't know if I like seeing Patch and Nora's faces. They'd always been pretty hidden in the previous two trailers and they don't really look like how I'd always pictured them, so it's kind of disappointing. Of course, they could also look exactly how someone else pictured them because this stuff is all very subjective. But for me, it's disappointing.
What do you guys think? If you'd never read the Hush, Hush series before, would you pick up the first book today based on this trailer? Or if you'd read the first two books and weren't blown away enough to really be anticipating the third one, would you change your mind after seeing this?
