D is for Doctor Who!

The A to Z Challenge continues and we're back with another one of my loves. And OHHHHHH!!!!

The Doctor!!!!

I'm a new fan. Yes, one those

But I swear I'm at least knowledgeable enough to know that show does not begin and end with #11 up there.

Though I do love bowties now.

I also have a plan for surviving the weeping angel invasion.

And I can pronounce dalek correctly. Oh yeah. That's a real fan. :P

Which reminds me of another "d" word...

LOL! Have a great A to Z day, everyone!

  3. One of my pet peeves is Classic Series fans, or Who fans that grew up on the Classic Series, who consider New Series fans (or fans who never saw the Classic Series) to be somehow inferior. *sigh*

I don't care if you started with William Hartnell or Matt Smith--if you love Who, we share a love for a great show. And a small piece of me is envious of newcomers to Who. You get to experience classic stories, like "Robots of Death" and "The Talons of Weng Chiang" for the first time. I love these stories, but I'll never have that "first time" experience again.

See you behind the virtual sofa on Saturday, Emily! :D

    1. Agreed!! Hear! Hear!!

And sigh... I wish I could be there, virtually enjoying it with you. But alas, I don't have cable or satellite and must get all my Doctor Who from Netflix (aka much later than everyone else).

      :(

  4. I'm a new Whovian, too. :) Although I don't have cable or anything, so I'm getting very frustrated waiting for Netflix to have the last season, not to mention the new one!
Some of the episodes are so marvelously written, and they've really encouraged me to think outside the box in my own work.

  8. *sigh* Reading this just made my day. I love the Doctor so much. My family is embarrassed by some of the things in my bedroom and the sonic screwdriver that I carry in my purse. I'm on of those fans that is waiting for the TARDIS to park in the front yard and take me away. ;-)

  9. I'm not a totally gung ho fan, but I've enjoyed some of the seasons. I really need to go back and watch some of the classic ones.
