I'm In Love

And his name is Fluffy.

A special little guy came in the mail a couple days ago, just in time for the two of us to enjoy the amazon gift card I won from maybe genius' mash-up blogfest!  We've spent every waking hour with each other so far.  He's shared his little stories, and I've kept him warm in my hands.  I even got him a little coat to wear.

Now, before I confuse you dear readers any further, let me tell you who Fluffy is...

My new kindle!!!  Yay!  And yes, I've named it Fluffy (there's an option for naming and everything!).  I already purchased two books (FIRELIGHT, by Sophie Jordan and HUSH, HUSH, by Becca Fitzpatrick) and just finished one of them moments ago.  Oh the ease!  Oh the joy!  Oh the danger...  Buying books is waaaaay too easy on this thing.  Going broke is very likely.  But I just may see book reviews becoming a regular feature on the blog in the future!  Actually, I really need to get some revising done.  :o

Off I go!

  1. Enjoy your Kindle! I have one too, and it gives me opportunities to read in places I couldn't before.

  2. Well, ain't you modern now? LOL My mom has one, and loves it. Especially the larger print option and the dictionary! I haven't succumbed yet, however.

  3. Sandra--I haven't taken mine out in public yet, but I'm looking forward to the opportunity!

Carol--I know! I feel like I'm one of those futuristic people in sci-fi movies! :D

    Misha--Indeed you should be. :P

  5. I don't have a Kindle yet. Mostly because of the going broke factor because I know it would be so easy to get books instantly.

  6. Fabulous, Emily! Enjoy you're Kindle although I'll be jealous, knowing that you and Fluffy are having all that fun and I don't have a fluffy of my own!

  7. Love it that you named your Kindle fluffy. I want one soooo bad. I'm trying to read Under the Dome in hardback. The thing weighs five pounds, I swear.

  10. Alas, I am too poor for such a device, but my writing would suffer if I had one. I carry a notebook to write when I'm not at home. If I had a Kindle I'd be carrying it around and reading instead of writing.

  11. My ereader was on sale otherwise I never would have bought it! LOL! But yes, buying books without even leaving the house? Way too easy.

  12. Yay -- congratulations on your Kindle! "Fluffy" is such an awesome name for it. :D

But yes. I'd also anticipate going broke if I ever buy a Kindle. All the books I could buy! (And enjoy FIRELIGHT -- I'd love to read that soon. :))

  13. My hubby's mom is planning to buy one for his dad this Christmas. I've been contemplating getting one, but not as a replacement for buying the paper versions, just as an additional medium for reading.
